RECOVERY AND COACHING
Recovery is as individual as the circumstances that lead to your loved one’s addiction. Differing from psychologists or counselors, coaching doesn’t involve a diagnosis or delving into past events. A coach supports with an emphasis on the present and moving forward together.
As you encounter challenges along the recovery journey, a coach can provide perspective and strategies to help you become a more effective support for the addict as well as yourself.
A coach journeys with you and holds a safe, judgement free space from which you can cultivate new ways to act, be and speak, helping you and your loved one move toward recovery.
Eileen employs the B.A.L.M.® (Be a Loving Mirror) method, a comprehensive family recovery education program designed to blaze a trail to recovery with love and compassion.
Some of the things you’ll learn through working with a coach:
• Connect with and support the addict while maintaining boundaries.
• Find clarity during the chaos.
• Regain inner calm and peace.
• Turn denial into awareness.
• Letting go without giving in or giving up.
• Keeping focus on yourself.
